How does SASOM define Single Card (Trading Cards) Conditions?

SASOM defines Single Card (Raw Card) as follows:

✳ Items may show defects such as color fading, white spots, or blemishes in various areas.

✳ Items may have incomplete accessories or no original packaging.

All items will be referenced by the product photos and equipment list as specified. Buyers should carefully review the photos before placing an order. If defects are found or accessories do not match what the seller has specified, SASOM will notify the buyer.

SASOM's authentication standards are continuously updated to ensure smooth transactions between trading parties and to establish more comprehensive authentication criteria. Please refer to the latest authentication standards before proceeding with a transaction.

All products sold or purchased are shipped only after SASOM's professional authentication team has thoroughly checked the product's condition and approved the authenticity.

Precautions regarding Collectibles:

✳ SASOM performs basic quality checks and authentication. However, as an intermediary, SASOM is not responsible for the manufacturer's warranty for each product.

✳ For questions about product functionality or other product-related issues, please contact the manufacturer directly.

✳ For products whose value may decrease when the sealed package is opened, the contents will not be inspected. The inspection covers product information, packaging condition, and whether there are any signs of repackaging or product replacement.

In addition to the criteria outlined by SASOM's authentication standards, products that are found to have defects from the manufacturing process, or that cannot be clearly identified based on SASOM's authentication criteria, will be considered non-defective and purchase cancellations will not be allowed for these reasons.

Raw Card Condition Guidelines:

✳ Near Mint (NM): Near-perfect condition, suitable for collecting.

✳ Lightly Played (LP): Light signs of use, still looks good.

✳ Moderately Played (MP): Clear signs of use, suitable for playing.

✳ Heavily Played (HP): Heavy wear, for playing only.

SASOM defines Single Card (Graded Card) as follows:

✳ For items housed in a Card Holder certified by an external grading company such as Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), Beckett Grading Services (BGS), TAG, and CGC — we will inspect and verify the item in its original condition within the case. The card will not be removed from the case during inspection.

✳ The quality of the card inside the case will not be verified against its assigned grade.

✳ If the card is stored in a clear plastic bag, the bag will be opened during inspection and may be replaced with a new one based on the product's condition.

✳ The condition of the card inside the case will not be inspected at the time of authentication, as it is considered to already meet the standards of each respective grading company.
