Q: What are the selling fees on SASOM?

When an item is sold on SASOM, a portion of the seller’s earnings is deducted as selling fees. The selling fees include the Seller Fee, Campaign Fee, and Additional Fees (if applicable). These fees are displayed in the Payout Summary.

 

1. Seller Fee: What is it?
   

   The Seller Fee is a standard service fee that covers authentication and processing costs. Starting November 1, 2025, different fee rates will apply depending on the seller’s level.

   Tier 1 Seller Fee: 9.00%
   Tier 2 Seller Fee: 8.50%
   Tier 3 Seller Fee: 7.50%
   Tier 4 Seller Fee: 6.00%

2. Campaign Fee: What is it?
   

   The Campaign Fee can either be a fee discount or an additional charge. The fee may change over time and can be influenced by special promotions, product categories, or market demand adjustments.

   *This fee will only appear when there is a relevant campaign or promotion.
   
   

3. Additional Fees: What are they?
   Additional Fees are special charges that may apply in certain months, such as:

Q: When are the fees calculated?
The fees will be calculated when the buyer place an order. Once the seller confirms the sale, the fees will be locked at the applicable rate at that time and will not change, even if there are updates to campaigns or promotions afterward.

Q: How do sellers pay the service fees?
SASOM automatically deducts the selling fees from the seller’s earnings.

If an order is canceled before confirmation, no fees will be charged.

Locked-in fees may vary depending on the seller tier, product category, and applicable campaigns at the time of confirmation.

Q: How to check fee details and campaign information?

If a campaign applies: The system will display the fee rate as a percentage along with a short description of the campaign.
If no campaign applies: The fee will be calculated based on the standard seller rate, depending on the product category and the seller’s level.
