What happens to my account if it becomes restricted?

Updated February 17, 2026

When your account becomes Restricted , your selling permissions are temporarily adjusted to help stabilize your selling performance.

This usually happens when your Account Score drops below 60 or when a serious penalty is applied.

What does this mean for your account?

While your account is restricted:

  • Standard Listings
    • You can't create new standard listings
    • Existing standard listings are hidden from buyers
    • You can still manage and fulfill current orders
  • Ready-to-Ship (R2S) Listings
    • Fully available
    • You can create new R2S listings and manage existing ones as usual

Note:

✳ Limiting sales to R2S only helps reduce failed orders and ensures faster confirmation and shipping, as these steps are handled automatically.

How can I recover from a restricted status?

To recover your account:

  • Complete orders successfully
  • Avoid order failures or cancellations

Once your Account Score rises above 60 , your account will automatically regain full access to all listing types.
No manual action or support request is required.

Key things to know

  • Account restrictions are temporary
  • R2S-only selling helps support faster recovery
  • Full access is restored automatically as performance improves
